Lieutenant Morales

Tonight’s RAK went to Lt. Morales. He got his first commission today and earned the rank of Lieutenant, and was out with his family to celebrate. I bought his family their dinner, and told them about paying it forward. The mother got goosebumps and since he will be shipping out tomorrow morning for his new post, she will be in charge of paying it forward. They were all wicked grateful, and left singing.

Making Someone Else’s Day

GNHR RAK Leave a Comment

Today our RAK was a mother and son sitting at the bar down at Cactus Jacks. They had just come from putting their dog down. When I first went over she did not want to except because she thought that it was something we were doing just for her, but when I explained further she was more then happy to except and was excited to make someone else’s day.

Cheesecake Excitement

GNHR RAK Leave a Comment

Today’s Hudson RAK went to Rachel & Kendra! I saw how excited they were about trying the Strawberry Blueberry Cheesecake & I had a feeling they would enjoy being chosen as my RAK! I told them I was picking up their lunch and they freaked out! They are definitely my favorite guests that I’ve chosen for my RAK so far – They were SO thrilled & very excited to be able to pay it forward especially since they do it quite often with buying coffees & tolls for others! I love it! 🙂

A Much Better Day

GNHR RAK Leave a Comment

Tonight @ CJ’s I wanted to hold out till the end and waiting for a late night bar patron for my RAK.  Well the perfect guest came in.  he was chatting with Carmen about how bad his day had been.  He was working on his girlfriend’s car to have it fixed when she returned from a business trip and instead of an hour it took him 4 to fix it.  Then when he arrived he realized he forgot his wallet, so he left to get it.  I told him that we would be picking up his food tab and he was very grateful.  He said that they made his awful day much better and he couldn’t wait to Pay it Forward.

Solo Lunch Patron

Today in Derry, I wound up doing my RAK to a solo lunch patron named Becky. I wound up picking up her lunch tab, and explaining the promotion to her. She was very happy to have her lunch picked up, she was very surprised, and thankful, and I have no doubt that she will take the time to Pay it Forward.

Engaged This Afternoon

GNHR RAK Leave a Comment

This is Matt Russo and Tracy “soon to be Russo”. They are new to the area and got engaged this afternoon. They brought her parents in for dinner to tell them the news! I offered congratulations and bought the table dinner. They were blown away when I said the only thing we ask of them is to pay the good will forward to someone in the next 24 hours. They left happy and we have new regulars for hopefully a couple generations.

Proud of His First Full-Time Job

GNHR RAK Leave a Comment

RAK tonight went to James Knowles, a 19 yr old kid who got his first full time job, and snuck away to pay the bill for his parents. He was very proud of this, so instead of buying dinner and taking his moment, I gave him a GC for his next visit, and told him about Paying it Forward. He can’t wait to pass on the good will.

Local Business Owners

GNHR RAK Leave a Comment

Tonight’s RAK went to this couple.  They are local business owners that come in several times a week for a late night dinner.  They are so kind, and generous to our staff and they appreciate anything that we do for them.  It felt only right to do something nice for them.  Their first response was “Are you kidding, nobody has ever done anything this nice for us before”  Needless to say, they were once again very grateful to us for buying their dinner as well as the opportunity to Pay It Forward to someone else!
