We love to Pay it Forward here at T-BONES, Cactus Jacks, and Copper Door and Random Acts of Kindness have always been part of our company's culture. In 2015 we decided to bring our love of these random acts up another notch…and have been surprising guests with free desserts, free appetizers, free meals and other cool surprises at all our locations almost daily! It does not stop there; each recipient is then given a $25 Pay It Forward dining certificate to present to a random person to keep the momentum going. We love doing this so much that we’ve dedicated an entire website to the stories and memories we’ve created and are creating everyday…Enjoy!
Tonight I took care of a couple of our regulars Ty and Lisa. They are in here at least 5 nights a week and treat our staff very well. I took care of their dinners tonight and explained the promotion to them. They were very excited to be able to pay it forward.

Tonight’s RAK at CJ’s went to a couple of bar patrons that are in once a week or so… They were mostly drinking and had an app so I decided to buy their app and hook them up with a GC for their next visit. They were more than happy to then promote the place they love by Paying it Forward to a stranger. They think this promo is one of our best yet!

Tonight the guests I chose had actually just flown in, because his mother had passed away last night. One of the bartenders had brought that to my attention, so needless to say they were my choice. I just told them they were randomly selected and that we were picking up their tab. The bartenders paid for their drinks from their tips 🙂 Love the team I work with they are amazing & caring bunch!

Today’s RAK went to Terry and Ray. They dine with us at lunch at least 3x a week, sometimes 4. They truly love everyone that waits on them and Terry LOVES her Baked Stuffed Haddock. She gets it every time without fail! They were very sweet and brought a sympathy card for me and my family as I was presenting them with the RAK – quite a moment. They were blown away with our promotion and touched at the same time that we chose them. Terry is looking forward to heading out to pass the good will along!

Tonight’s Hudson RAK went to one of our regular bar guests, June! After 46 1/2 years at BAE she has decided to retire on July 10th! You would have thought her and her husband were celebrities because she was chatting it up with everyone she knew and letting them all know her exciting news! I told her that her meal was complimentary and she couldn’t believe that her night could have gotten any better! June was very grateful and pleased that she was the one chosen to pay it forward.

Jack, Trisha, and Daniel frequent the CoDo generally after 11:30pm as we are the one place they can go after they get out of work and consistently enjoy a gluten intolerant dining experience. Tonight, they happened to be the last party that came in and sat in the bar. After they finished, I stopped by their table to tell them of the promotion and that I was picking up their dinner. All 3 were psyched about what we’re doing and Trisha jumped on the opportunity to be the one in the group to Pay It Forward. Pretty sure she’s going to give us some hashtag loving on her social sites, too.

Today I chose to buy a family’s meals. They are a kind family and they have always been good to people in general. They are a well known family in town, the Kileys… Last year the patriarch of their family passed on and they came here to celebrate his life. They were so grateful to us for the wonderful times they shared here as a family, so today was a great way to show them that we are grateful for them as well.

Tonight I picked a random couple to surprise. I bought their appetizer and dessert and they were thrilled because starting tomorrow they are giving up desserts, they said that was pretty cool. They can’t wait to make someone else’s day!!
