We love to Pay it Forward here at T-BONES, Cactus Jacks, and Copper Door and Random Acts of Kindness have always been part of our company's culture. In 2015 we decided to bring our love of these random acts up another notch…and have been surprising guests with free desserts, free appetizers, free meals and other cool surprises at all our locations almost daily! It does not stop there; each recipient is then given a $25 Pay It Forward dining certificate to present to a random person to keep the momentum going. We love doing this so much that we’ve dedicated an entire website to the stories and memories we’ve created and are creating everyday…Enjoy!
Tonight’s RAK went to Robin Kennedy. Robin came in for takeout after traveling to and from Syracuse, NY to attend her son’s graduation today. Robin was almost speechless and was so excited to pay it forward and make someone else’s day.

Barbara and Nancy were celebrating an early mothers day together. I was their fill in son. They were ecstatic, Nancy could not keep her hands to herself!

A customer paid for another customer’s dinner and her friends. She saw her eating alone and felt really bad about it. The lady eating alone is a regular and she just recently lost her husband. Her friend that she was with was suppose to go on a cruise yesterday but her husband had become ill and they couldn’t make it. She was happy that her good deeds weren’t going unnoticed. I was catching these ladies as they were leaving so I gave her a gift card for next time.

Todays RAK went to a mother and daughter out for an early Mothers day dinner. Mom also has just lost 100 pounds and a recent cancer surviver. They were so touched and happy to see our company taking time to Pay it forward.

I took care of our “cupcake lady” who has been coming here since we opened and has had every cupcake we’ve ever made! She is sooooo nice and bubbly and nearly hugged me to death she was so excited. She can’t wait to pay it forward 🙂

Today’s RAK went to a couple up from South Carolina. I know we’re not supposed to use it for complaints, but they did have one…that none of the Mexican restaurants down by them can hold a candle to us! They used to be regulars before they moved down to SC. They are up because their daughter is graduating from SNHU today at 5pm, and they’re secretly sneaking in some Jamaicans and their favorite meals before her graduation. Shhhh. Don’t share this anywhere else but here ;-). They were so excited to pay it forward and thankful for us picking up their meals.

Today we had a newly engaged couple sitting out on our deck named Brian and Katie, they were just out to lunch celebrating. So I took care of their food tab and explained our promotion. They were more then happy, she said this may be the best week of her life and I told her I hope the trend continued. This may be the best promotion we have ever done.

Tonight we had a man named Jerry who was taking his mother out for an early mothers day. Jerry was very funny and extremely loving towards his mother on her special day. She was very impressed by what our company does for their patrons. And couldn’t wait to make someone else day.

Some regulars had called and made sure they could have a table in celebration of their sons graduation. We got him a card and some gift cards to places like target. We also took care of the mothers food as an early mothers day present. They were very appreciative.

Today’s Hudson RAK went to a gentleman who was dining in with his wife & their friend. Our hostess Claudette was at the home store yesterday and she was struggling to get some instillation out of her car. He saw that she needed some assistance, so he stopped what he was doing to help her out. This family has been coming to T-BONES for about 25 years! I figured this would be the perfect time to pay it forward for both helping Claudette & for being such loyal customers. I picked up their lunch and they were so grateful. They couldn’t have said any nicer things about our company! They love us! 🙂
