Happy 42nd Anniversary!

GNHR RAK Leave a Comment

Tonight in Manchester, our RAK went to a couple who came in for their 42nd anniversary.  We hooked them up with free dinners and brought out a piece of chocolate cake to them surrounded by chocolate hearts.  They were so excited and grateful for the gesture.  Even told us about their license plates that say “May-5”, their trips to Mexico, and how they spent the last two anniversaries in Mexico and the Dominican, so because they were home this year, they thought they’d got to CJ’s and keep the Mexican theme going!

It’s Your Turn Now

Gail and John are Bedford daily regulars. From time to time, they are able to pay it forward to other guests while dining with us. On one occasion they bought the whole check for a table next to them for a child that was recovering from his chemo therapy. It was time we pay it forward to them.

New Regulars

This afternoon, our RAK went to a couple sitting at the bar.  They have recently been converted to CJ’s regulars and we wanted to give them just one more reason to love coming to see us!  They were so excited that we were buying their meals and they couldn’t wait to pay it forward!

Just Because

I chose to take care of the check for a family of regulars “just because”.  They are always so pleasant to the staff and at Christmas time they buy $25 gift cards for the entire staff, and I mean EVERYONE, including the kitchen staff!  They were beyond touched and loved the pay it forward idea.

New Grandson

I did my first RAK tonight, and it was Awesome! This is Ricardo & Brenda Romero they are from OHIO. I chose them because they told Kellie they were here visiting because their daughter had a emergency C-section. Their new grandson was born healthy and they were so happy! When I told them I wanted to buy their dinners tonight to make their already great day even better they were speechless. They couldn’t be more happier to pay it forward to a stranger and said this will be the spot they dine at whenever they visit.

This Baby Thing is Confusing!

GNHR RAK Leave a Comment

This RAK was for a couple that just had they’re first baby and brought him here to “meet” some of his relatives!  The dad was so funny because when I asked him if he would like a baby sling he paused and came out with “this is my first baby and I don’t know what that is-this baby thing is so confusing!”  We got a good laugh with that and after I explained it what is for and sat his party, I told him we were picking up his and his wives meals in congratulations.  We won over a party of 8 immediately 🙂

Mother-Son Lunch Date

GNHR RAK Leave a Comment

Today we kept true to the “Random” part of this. No real reason, just a nice mother and son out for lunch. I told them about what we are doing, bought them lunch, and they are extremely happy to keep the circle of Random acts of kindness going. Adria and Julien will come in next week to let us know how they kept it going.

No More Braces, YAY!

This is Miss Hanna! She was so thrilled to show off her pearly whites after having braces for three long years, she couldn’t stop smiling! Hanna was even more thrilled to find out her lunch was complimentary, plus I sent her on her way with our Pink Lemonade cupcake. She is looking forward to completing her first RAK 🙂

Nice to Meet You, Bob

GNHR RAK Leave a Comment

In Derry today, I introduced myself to Bob. Although Bob is a regular guest in Derry, I never knew his name, and we had never been formerly introduced. Normally Bob come in with a couple of other people, but today he came in by himself later in the afternoon than he regularly dines. I picked him for my random act of kindness, and he was very appreciative. I also had 2 regulars that come to Derry, but are more regular in Salem come to Derry this afternoon. They were recipients of the random act in Salem yesterday. They dined on the Patio, and while I was out watering we had a conversation about the Random Acts, and they were very happy to go shopping at the Mall last night and Pay it Forward.
