The other day I had a mom and her daughter in our dinning room, at one point during their lunch I saw the mother running out the door with her child. At first I was scared something was wrong with her daughter but come to find out she was being a good citizen. This mother ran all the way out side, child on hip to just bring another guest something they had just forgotten at their table. How could I ignore this? I COUlDN’T! A few moments later i presented her with a $25.00 GC for her next visit and $25.00 RAK for her to give to someone else… Needless to say she was very very happy!

I had guest come in tonight and it was their first time ever here at t-bones. I decided to RAK these guest because I wanted to show them what T-bones is about and we are about paying it forward. They are beyond excited to come back again!
The One Who the Staff Loves!
Today I was walking with my RAK in my hand to go scope out the dining room and on my way out I was approached by a host and two servers asking if I needed to find someone to RAK. I said yes, thinking “oh jeez, how do I pick between three people who I am going to RAK”, well thank goodness they all wanted me to RAK the same table. I RAK’d table 52, who is a regular when it comes to takeouts (everyone was surprised to see him and his wife here eating inside). When three of my co-workers approach me and love someone so much because he is so nice and cheery every time he comes in, it is almost impossible to say no. I am pleased to say I RAK’d someone who has an impact on our staff every time he comes in!
Let the Sunshine Through the Rain!
Today was a rainy day and I had a customer full of sunshine come in. When I say full of sunshine I mean it, she came in and lit up the room! I wanted to pay it forward to someone who helped brighten my day as well as the other servers and guest in our lounge! Even when it Rains it is possible to have a BRIGHT fun day!!
Forever Regulars!
Tonight I was walking threw the dinning room doing my usually walk around and I happened to notice a couple that I know I’ve seen many many times before, and for some reason I new I remember them not just for being regulars but for another reason but I just couldn’t put my finger on it. As I walked around I picked up on some of their conversation, and how much they loved the t-bones staff, then it hit me. Around christmas time they where the table who paid for my tables meal. The reason why they paid for my tables meal was because they wanted to thank the father at my table for his service (he was a marine), because of this I wanted to repay the pay it forward to them. I presented this couple with a $25.00 Gift certificate for their next visit and a $25 GC to give to any random person they please. Of course this couple new right off the bat someone in need who would love this. It pays to pay it forward especially when its someone who pays it forward all the time!
First Timers
Tonight I had a lovely couple come in for their first time, I over heard them saying how good the food was and it didn’t even compare to other places around. I approached them to let them know that not only do we have amazing home made food we also try and go above and beyond daily. I presented them with a $25.00 Gift certificate and explained to them what the RAK program was. At the end of our conversation they informed me that they where not from around here but their son is. They now are going to visit T-bones every time they visit there son (which is four times a year). Our first timers have now become regulars 4 times a year!
