This afternoon at CJ’s I was able to RAK some first time guests that were raving about how delicious EVERYTHING was and how they loved it here already. Low and behold, when I went over to the table, the woman was one of my mother’s good friends from when I was a little kid. We chatted for awhile and they were blown away that I gave them a GC to come back. I think they might turn into regulars real quick.
The other day I did a RAK, for a family who had just come in for lunch after attending a second funeral that week. All I did was pay for their lunch and encourage them all to indulge in some dessert. This just shows how much of an impact that small token can be. Gin came in with a thank you card yesterday for me, and I think it sums up just why we’re doing this whole thing. (I have to be honest, there were some slight water works lol)
I did my RAK yesterday to an older couple who were sitting in our Louisiana room. There was a party of 10 right next to them, having a great Saturday night, but the couple was never phased. The server told me even though it was so loud in that corner the couple was still super sweet. I bought their dinners and they were so happy and just said it’s Saturday night, we were young too.
Yesterday I was able to RAK a kid named CJ at CJ’s… He was in with his sisters and his grandfather and they asked about our CJ’s shirts. I saw this as a great opportunity to hook him up with a shirt and GC to take his family out the next time. When I was explaining the whole promotion, all the tables around seemed to stop and listen in. I could tell it had a big impact and the kids at the table were all smiles from ear to ear.
