Tonight in Derry, I waited until later in the evening to do my RAK. It worked out perfectly. Around 9:30, a party of 4 came in, and one of the guys was sporting a Red Sox hat. Perfect. The Sox were losing again. Who needs a RAK more than a suffering Sox fan. I introduced myself to the table, and explained the promotion. the guests were very appreciative, and thought that the promotion was excellent. I wound up picking up 3 appetizers for the table, and giving Nate the Pay it Forward certificate. – Andre Morris
Polka Dots
RAK today. We (our staff included) wanted to have a bit of fun with it today. We decided we were going to Pay it Forward to the first person that came into our restaurant wearing polka dots. Well – one just showed up! Party of 7 women all out for a reunion and we picked up (2) appetizers for them. The woman wearing the polka dots is Rosamund (yup that’s how she spelled it). She is anxious to go out in the next couple of days to do her part! – Denis Brunelle
Bright Spot in a Rough Patch
This guest and her husband visited us today for the first time in a while. Angela asked what had brought them in today and where they had been. She started to cry and said he had lost her dad this past week and had taken a few extra days off of work and decided to come in for lunch (she is a school teacher). We bought their lunch and gave them a GC for their next visit in hopes it would brighten her day. – Lisa Schoneberger
Retirement Celebration
Today in Laconia we had a group in celebration a retirement from NH Ball Bearing. She worked there for 25 years! They loved the promotion and she was excited that she got to participate and give a gift certificate to someone she doesn’t know! – Lori Haney
Welcome, First Timers
Had some first timers at Derry T-BONES the other night! Thought it would be the perfect opportunity for a RAK and a great first impression of our company and culture!! – Joey O’Donnell
Summer is Here Again!
Today’s RAK at CJ’s went to a couple that frequent our Cantina in the Summer and this was their 1st visit of the year. Bill is in a wheelchair and it’s tough for them to get out and about when the weather doesn’t cooperate. When I explained that I wanted them to be my recipient of a random act of kindness, they were floored. They were almost as excited to pay it forward to someone tomorrow. – Josh Bruno
Such a Kind Heart
Salem RAK today was a young man named Richard celebrating his 75th Birthday ….He is a bit of a jokester and had all of us laughing. He was super surprised and grateful, I bought all 3 meals and he is excited to pay it forward. On his way out he saw the wheel for Hollie and want to pay t forward even more, he made $100 donation (without a spin). Richard has such a kind heart, I’m glad he was our RAK! – Rheanna Cook
The Tie-Dye Guys
Hudson’s RAK tonight went to two laid back guys wearing matching tie dye shirts. They came out to grab some yummy burgers and a couple margaritas and were definitely not expecting to receive their meals on us. It was such a beautiful day today so I wanted to choose someone based on their summer attire- something fun and hopefully different. These two were perfect, especially since they were matching. They were very surprised that I took care of their burgers – and loved that they get to pay the favor to someone else tomorrow! – Meaghan Corriveau
Keeping Our Community Safe
Todays RAK went to Matt, Stephanie and their two kids. Matt is a Salem Police Officer who spends a lot of time in our elementary schools teaching the kids about Stranger Danger, Bicycle Safety and just safety in general. They were so excited and Stephanie can’t wait to Pay it Forward. I did pick up their lunch tab. – Rebecca Lemay
Lifetime Volunteer
One of my servers heard this guest talking about how he had volunteered through his lifetime and felt it would be a great RAK! They were shocked and appreciative! By the way…I’m loving this! – Lisa Schoneberger
