Today’s RAK in Derry went to an incredibly sweet couple who I see often early afternoon during down time. They’ve been coming in for years and know a lot of us by name. I knew when they came in they would be my RAK today since I hadn’t seen them in a while. They love to hear about our kids and what’s going on in their lives. I told them how my daughter had graduated Kindergarten this week and they asked for pictures. After explaining RAK to them they told me today was their day…they had broken down earlier and a random man had stopped to help them for over an hour. They tried to give him money to thank him and he wouldn’t accept it. They were shocked by their good luck and then to have their lunch taken care of on top of that made them feel so lucky!! They couldn’t wait to Pay it Forward.
