Two Sisters

I have a 2nd RAK for the day to two sisters who were here having lunch.  Their mom passed away overnight and they both had not gotten any sleep.  They were brought to tears so therefore no picture.  I apologize for not getting their names as well as clearly they were having a difficult time under the circumstances.  They were both very grateful of our gesture and will be back – and will let me know who they passed it on too!

Making New Friends and Impressing Old Ones

GNHR RAK Leave a Comment

Derry’s RAK from Thursday night was very cool. I picked a couple later in the evening, Don And Dianne. They were very very nice, and said that they come to T-BONES often. I explained the promo, and they agreed that it was very cool. Dianne said that she would have to think long and hard about who to Pay it Forward to, but by the end of their meal she informed her serve that she had already figured out the perfect person who deserved it. I took up their tab. I love this promo. We really are making a ton of new friends, as well as impressing old ones.

Boy Takes Mom on Date with Allowance

GNHR RAK Leave a Comment

Tonight I met Trevor, a 7 year old boy who took his mom out on a dinner date by paying with his allowance…how cute is that?! Being that he is so young, he didn’t really know what RAK was all about.  What better way to explain this to him than actually use him as an example! So, in honor of him being such a nice, young, gentleman, dinner was complimentary so he could take his mom on another date.  He was so impressed, he shook my hand 🙂

Bedford’s Youngest Bar Regulars

GNHR RAK Leave a Comment

Jared and Kelly are Bedford’s youngest bar regulars, I swear! I decided to pay it forward to them as she is a hospice nurse and he works for the state. No matter their day, they come in here and makes ours enjoyable.

Favorite Place to Eat

Today I chose Larry & Linda Johnson. They own a pest service in Bedford and they came in for lunch. They were telling Erin that it was the start of busy season and this was their favorite place to eat. So we bought their lunch today and they were more then thrilled!

This is Jess.  She’s a regular here at CJ’s in Manchester and today’s RAK.  She just passed a huge important test for her job as an EMT!  We wanted to help her celebrate and she’s excited to Pay It Forward!

I Don’t Typically Like People

Our very pregnant hostess offered a suggestion for a RAK to a gentlemen who comes in for takeout.  She said that he is always kind of stand-offish with the other host/hostess or servers, but she has never had a problem with him.  I thought this would be great because who can be negative with a RAK.  When I told him we were paying for his entire takeout he was floored.  He pulled me aside and said “you know I don’t typically like people, but that Nicole is amazing and that’s why I come here.”  He was excited to pay it forward!

Crazy Hard Worker

Tonight’s RAK went to a young lady named Lindsey (16), she was taking her dad out to dinner.  After talking with her server Jerry, he found out that she works 3 jobs, goes to school and has already paid off her 2007 car, and she is only 16 … crazy hard worker! She loves the idea of paying it forward!  This is so much fun!

Tom and Steph

Tonight’s RAK went to Tom and Steph, a nice couple who got up to move to a different table so that a Rangers fan (no accounting for taste) could sit at a booth that could see the TV in the lounge. They were very excited to get dinner bought for them, and were happy to find someone to pay it forward to tomorrow.
