Random, Party of 2

GNHR RAK Leave a Comment

Today’s RAK was absolutely random. I walked around the dining room and just picked a party of two and took care of their dinners. They were very excited and pumped to be able to hook someone else up and continue the awesomeness.

RAK for a RAK

Today’s RAK went to a couple of gentlemen who were witnessed by Sarah holding the door open for a large group of older ladies as they were exiting. We wanted to reward their random act of kindness with one of our own. I bought their lunch, and explained about paying it forward. They walked right over to another couple who were sitting at the bar and decided to make their day brighter, and handed them the certificate. Thanks guys.

Two Nurses

Two nurses that work behind our restaurant came in after a long day. I decided to pay it forward to them because they frequent us weekly.

Almost the End of a Journey

Today’s Hudson RAK went to our bar guest, Leo! Chris was chatting it up with him and found out that he has a goal to visit all of the Hard Rock Hotels. With only two left to visit, he will be venturing off tomorrow with his girlfriend to check them out, along with visiting some of his other favorites that he has visited to over the years. He will be gone for about a month and is so excited to finalize his Shutterfly book of all his memories & pictures from his (soon to be) 48 trips! He said he would definitely pay it forward before heading out tomorrow!

College Graduate

Derry’s Random act today went to Nikki. I recognized her mother as a regular guest, but did not recognize Nikki. Nikki is graduating from College this week end. Come to find out, her family is coming in to Derry after the graduation, and not only that, Nikki babysits for one of our bartenders. Nikki and her mother were very pleased that we decided to pick up their tab today, and had no problem paying it forward.

Happy 42nd Anniversary!

Tonight in Manchester, our RAK went to a couple who came in for their 42nd anniversary.  We hooked them up with free dinners and brought out a piece of chocolate cake to them surrounded by chocolate hearts.  They were so excited and grateful for the gesture.  Even told us about their license plates that say “May-5”, their trips to Mexico, and how they spent the last two anniversaries in Mexico and the Dominican, so because they were home this year, they thought they’d got to CJ’s and keep the Mexican theme going!

It’s Your Turn Now

Gail and John are Bedford daily regulars. From time to time, they are able to pay it forward to other guests while dining with us. On one occasion they bought the whole check for a table next to them for a child that was recovering from his chemo therapy. It was time we pay it forward to them.

New Regulars

This afternoon, our RAK went to a couple sitting at the bar.  They have recently been converted to CJ’s regulars and we wanted to give them just one more reason to love coming to see us!  They were so excited that we were buying their meals and they couldn’t wait to pay it forward!

Just Because

I chose to take care of the check for a family of regulars “just because”.  They are always so pleasant to the staff and at Christmas time they buy $25 gift cards for the entire staff, and I mean EVERYONE, including the kitchen staff!  They were beyond touched and loved the pay it forward idea.

New Grandson

GNHR RAK Leave a Comment

I did my first RAK tonight, and it was Awesome! This is Ricardo & Brenda Romero they are from OHIO. I chose them because they told Kellie they were here visiting because their daughter had a emergency C-section. Their new grandson was born healthy and they were so happy! When I told them I wanted to buy their dinners tonight to make their already great day even better they were speechless. They couldn’t be more happier to pay it forward to a stranger and said this will be the spot they dine at whenever they visit.
