Wedding Bells

My RAK this week was a no brainer. Stacey, who was a very regular regular when she lived in N.H. was in town. She is getting married on Friday. She moved to Tennessee, but makes it a point to come to T-Bones every time she is in town. She was in for dinner with her fiancé and her parents, so I picked up their dinner tab. As Stacey is from around here, so was very happy to get the opportunity to Pay it Forward.

Pay it Back to Pay it Forward

My RAK this week went to Amanda and Shelly. They are the owner, and one of the server/part-time managers at Maddie’s in Salem They are two of the kindest people I know. My father in law goes to Maddie’s almost every day, and they treat him like a king. I took up their tab today, and Shelly was very happy to get the Pay it Forward gift certificate. Come to find out, that about 4 months ago, some one gave her a Pay it Forward certificate, so she was very happy to get the chance to Pay it Forward.

Happy 21st

I met a young lady today named Jackie. It was her 21st Birthday, and she came in for lunch with her mother, and her boyfriends mother and sister. I took up the tab ( minus the alcohol of course) and the entire table was very impressed.

Clockwork

Every Sunday morning, I can set my watch because I know at 11:26 Janet will be walking through the front door. She walks on in, and sits at table 31 without a menu. She is always the first guest on Sunday mornings. For years, she used to come in with her twin sister, but over the past year, she has been coming in by herself. Her sister is now in a nursing home. I chose her as my Random Act and she was thrilled!  She told me how much she loved us here at T-BONES in Derry, and was excited to Pay it Forward.

Today in Derry, I had a party of four ladies walk in around noon. I heard one of the ladies say “what a lovely place.” I inquired, and found out that not only had she never been to T-BONES in Derry, she had never been to a T-BONES at all. WHAT!?!?! Needless to say it instantly became the perfect RAK table. Her name was Cathy, and she was totally impressed with being chosen. I have no doubt that she will return to T-BONES, and no doubt that she will Pay it Forward.

Last Friday I was surprised to see Annie and Elisha dining at T-Bones in Derry with Annie’s 2 young sons. I know Annie and Elisha from Maddie’s Restaurant in Salem. My father in law goes to Maddie’s 7 days a week, and they treat him like a King. I picked up their tab, and they could not believe it. I was so happy to do so, as the manager at Maddie’s picks up Kenny’s tab every single day. They decided that they would flip a coin to see who got to take the gift certificate in to the community to Pay it Forward.

Thanks for the table!!

Today in Derry, I had a party of 2 sitting in the 60’s, and asked them if I could split off 1/2 of their table in order to make a party of 6. They responded with an “Of course you can, no problem”, it was right then and there that I knew I had my RAK table for the week. I approached Louise and Skip at the end of their meal, and again thanked them, and informed them that I chose them as my table to RAK for the week. They were very appreciative, and I know that they will Pay it Forward.
