We love to Pay it Forward here at T-BONES, Cactus Jacks, and Copper Door and Random Acts of Kindness have always been part of our company's culture. In 2015 we decided to bring our love of these random acts up another notch…and have been surprising guests with free desserts, free appetizers, free meals and other cool surprises at all our locations almost daily! It does not stop there; each recipient is then given a $25 Pay It Forward dining certificate to present to a random person to keep the momentum going. We love doing this so much that we’ve dedicated an entire website to the stories and memories we’ve created and are creating everyday…Enjoy!
Tonight My RAK went to 2 of my favorite Ladies (used to be regulars of mine when I was serving). They come in every Tuesday with a few others (that couldn’t be here tonight) … But these 2 have had a tough year, one has lost her son and the other is recovering from a stroke, they needed a little happy tonight. They were touched and surprised. I believe they flipped a coin to see who gets to Pay it Forward (super cute).

Today’s Hudson RAK went to two of my favorite ladies, Lee & Connie! I’ve had many of conversations with these two but today I found out Lee shares something in common with me, and that’s being the middle sister. We had a funny chat about having sisters, being the middle daughter vs. being the baby or oldest. I told them about our promotion and that I was taking care of their ‘big kid’ meals and they were SO happy. Lee gave me a big hug and a kiss on the cheek because she was so excited and thought it was such a sweet thing that had happened to her and her sister. They cannot wait to Pay it Forward!

Today’s RAK went to the sweetest couple. They come to Salem once a year from Salem Mass to spend the day shopping and then to eat here. Both Kaya and I enjoyed talking to them and they couldn’t believe that we are doing this. They told me a story about how someone along time ago did a similar act at a tollbooth.

Anybody with outdoor seating knew that it was hot and humid outside. For us, that means Tea Forte galore! My RAK went to Jane and Pam who braved the weather to sit outside and enjoyed their Tea Forte so much they wanted to buy a set. Instead, I hooked up each with a set as a gift. They were so surprised. Pam got the certificate to Pay It Forward. Way cool.

Our RAK tonight in Hudson was for a super cute couple. They are expecting their first child in 10 weeks. Apparently, the heat was a little much for her today, so he took her out for dinner, where ever she wanted…..she chose us! They were so sweet and so focused on only each other. With all of the places around us that our guests can choose, I love showing them that we appreciate that they chose us.

Today’s RAK at CJ’s went to a regular Brian that comes in for lunch and I can still remember his order from when I used to bartend. I actually waited on him today while Doug was busy and he simply said “The usual”… He was amazed I remembered and blown away that I decided to buy him lunch. I know he will make us proud by Paying it Forward.

This is John and Karen, a couple who were dining in our bar. I picked them because they each ordered a special that will be on our summer menu. After introducing myself and getting some feedback about the meals (Excellent!) I told them about our promotion and that I was buying their lunch. They asked me if I was kidding, and when I went into detail, they were touched. We got to talking about marketing and business, and I was able to get John’s business card so we could sign his company up for Corp Paybacks.

Today in Derry, I picked Frank and Maureen, who are regular lunch patrons that normally sit in the lounge or at the bar. They are already loyal guests, but were blown away by the promo, and will definitely Pay it Forward. I also had a couple of regulars that one of our other managers RAKKED in the past week or so, call me aside to tell me the story of when the Paid it Forward. They wound up giving the $25.00 certificate to a young grandmother, who was so surprised, and let them know that she rarely dines out, but was so happy to receive her RAK that she said that she was sure to come in to T-BONES, and they said that she was moved to tears. I love this promo.

Today’s RAK went to Dave who is one of our sweetest guests. He dines here probably 2-3 per week always by himself and everyone just loves him. He was super excited that I bought him lunch and he said it was the best thing that has happened to him in a while and he can’t wait to Pay it Forward. He was also my first guest to do a Kriddy.
