A Lovely Couple

Today in Derry my RAK was Jack and Fran. They had not been in in a while. They are an older couple, and Jack is a veteran, and they are a lovely couple. They were very surprised by the promo, and very happy to be the recipients. I am sure that they will Pay it Forward.

Soaked to the Bone

Jimmy came into our dining room soaked to the bone, and went right back outside in the rain to hold the door for a group of older women leaving. Definitely RAK worthy. Jim was taken aback and can’t wait to Pay it Forward.

68 Years and Still Romantic

Today’s CoDo RAK went to one couple, Elaine and William, who celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary! With them is their daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Mike, who made the reservation because this is where they wanted to come. What a great reason to enact a Random Act of Kindness. William is still very much the romantic, as he gave Elaine a lovely white rose to celebrate. When I told them I was picking up the lunch of the happy couple, they couldn’t believe it and were all very appreciative.

Tonight’s RAK in Derry went to Stacy and her friends. Stacy moved to Tennessee a few months ago and couldn’t wait to come to come by to T-BONES when she came home to visit with some family for a few days. Thought it was a great opportunity to Pay it Forward and say thanks!

Up From Atlanta

Tonight’s RAK went to these happy ladies.  I walked by the table and decided I’d like to pick up their little girls’ night out.  Turns out they are up here from Atlanta for a couple days.  Mom was very excited about the promotion and thought it was such a cool thing we were doing.

Lunch Date with Daddy

This afternoon’s RAK in Hudson went to the a Dad and his young daughter on a “lunch date”  They had spent the past several hours at the doctors for the little girl who suffers from pretty bad allergies and asthma.  He asked her if she wanted to go out for lunch and if so, where she wanted to go, and she said “T-BONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”  The Dad was very surprised and grateful and they agreed to Pay It Forward together.

CJ’s lunch RAK went to Lauren and her Mom… Lauren flew in to be with her mom after her mom had surgery to remove breast cancer. She is an old friend of one of our employees and they were both completely floored by the gesture.

I’ll Keep You Dry

My RAK today went to a wicked nice guy who walked out two older ladies holding an umbrella over them. I ran out after him to give a GC and the Pay it Forward certificate, and he was surprised (prob because some dummy knocked on his window in a downpour 😛 ) I didn’t catch a name because it happened so fast but I know we will see him again.
