Today’s Copper Door RAK went to this lovely pair, Alice and Robert. Nikki was engaging them at lunch, heard their story, and came right to me! We hooked them up with lunch today because it is Alice’s 81st birthday, and when either of them has a special day, they come here to celebrate. We further learned that back in the day, Alice introduced Robert to her best friend, who ended up becoming his wife! They’ve remained close through all these years even after losing their respective spouses. Such a lovely and sentimental tale. They are very much looking forward to telling the story of what happened here today when they pass along the GC.
