Wallet Left Behind

My RAK went to a couple who forgot their wallet, and didn’t realize it until half way through their meal. They were very nice about it, offering to leave his phone, his wife’s car keys, and his wife herself. When I went over to tell them what we were doing for them, they were speechless, and almost refused to be given “charity”. When I explained paying it forward and keeping the good will going, they accepted having their dinner bought for them, and they will search high and low to pay it forward tomorrow afternoon after they find his wallet.

Today My RAK went out to a regular who just informed us that he got called back into IRAQ after being out of active for many, many years. He’s going to build hospitals and housing also ” stuff he can’t talk about ” 🙂 He always comes in happy and a great customer to the staff. I bought his tab for him and he was thrilled and happy we do such a program! He said he will Pay It Forward to someone in need!

Yesterday’s RAK went to a couple who dined here for dinner. In the middle of their dining experience, George proposed to his girlfriend! They were so adorable and had the “I’m in love stare” the entire night! They were so happy that we took care of their dinner. I wish them luck!!

My RAK went out to an older couple that comes in and usually shares a meal. I went over to them and they informed me they found out their first great grandchildren are going to be twins. So with that I informed them that their app and meal was on the house tonight and explained why. She instantly started crying and they thanked me so much.. Made me get a little teary eyed on how much our customers love this promotion. They will gif the Pay It Forward  certificate to someone in need this holiday season

My RAK today went to a little boy who was very disappointed his burger did no come with bacon. When Katie went back to get him a piece, he was overheard shouting ‘Bacon is better than cookies!”.  This was beyond RAK worthy. I went over and bought his family dinner. They were really happy, Mom jumped up to hug me, and they can’t wait to pay it forward!

My RAK for this week went to a young lady in uniform who came in for takeout. As her food was delivered, I told her that we were thankful for her service and ordinarily she would receive the Military Discount, but tonight I was picking up dinner plus giving her a GC. She was excited about the GC, as she wants to take out 3 of her friends who will be deployed on January 4th. Further, she was excited about the opportunity of the Pay It Forward certificate.

Missed the Party

I had spoke to a gentleman named Don that was hosting a surprise birthday party (does it every year) for his wife. He explained that he wasn’t sure how many people were going to show up, but it would be roughly 10. The dinner party went great, however I found out on my shift the next day that one couple had missed the party and came into T-BONES on the wrong night! I sat down and spoke to them for a bit, and thanked them for still deciding to stay and dine with us. I surprised them with dinner on us, and they were so appreciative. They love T-BONES and we’re happy that we made their night special for them, even when they had all intentions to share a special night for someone else!

We Even Loved the Bathrooms

My RAK went to a young couple celebrating their 1st wedding anniversary.  They were 1st time guests and LOVED everything about us-from the building to the food and service, bathrooms too, LOL!  I gave them a GC as a welcome to CD and anniversary “present”.  They were floored 🙂

Paying It Forward More Than Once

Tonight there was more than one random act of kindness that went on. This couple had sat down and asked for the manager immediately. The woman had explained to me that every year she buys gift cards and asks the manager to give them to families inside the restaurant. She gave me 4 $20 gift cards to give away, in return i RAKed them and they thought it was so awesome. All of the families that got the gift cards were also grateful. 🙂
