A Most Deserving Bunch

My RAK went to a lovely family for many reasons; 1) Dad was in the Air Force 2) Dad is also a Nashua Firefighter 3) Both boys Birthdays are today and on Wednesday ….. I picked up the whole tab and they can’t wait to find someone to pay it forward to.  LOVE THIS! – Rheanna Cook

35th Wedding Anniversary

CJ’s RAK today was completely random. I had never seen these guests before so I decided to stop by and introduce myself. They were very pleased with their lunches and when we got to chatting, I explained the promo to them and I chose them to buy lunch for today. They were floored and told me that they just celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary Saturday. Guess it wasn’t so random after all! – Josh Bruno

Last Dinner in NH

Something unusual happened at the CoDo tonight on our terrace. It was brought to my attention that a dog had suddenly appeared and was scrounging around the tables. She had no collar and seemed a little on the skinny side: We thought she may be a stray. That’s when Mia and Jason, 2 guests who were sitting outside, both got up from their table and made their way over to where I had the dog. Mia offered to put the pooch in her car while we worked on a decision on what to do. One of our servers had a leash in her vehicle and after we were able to secure the dog, Mia asked if it would be alright if she could keep it by her table while they dined so it wouldn’t get lonely. We did a bit of detective work and were able to figure out that our stray was actually an escapee from a vehicle parked in our lot. We found the rightful owners in the dining room, reunited them with “Shay”, and settled back into the evening. Because Mia and Jason took about a second to help and because of their kind offers, I hooked them up with dinner as I explained our RAK. Come to find out it was their last dinner in NH because they are moving to Houston tomorrow. Realizing that they wouldn’t be able to give out our Pay it Forward certificate, I instead gave them a $25 Visa gift card with the same conditions, that they had to give it away randomly and explain why to that person. I trust in them and have no doubt that’s what they will do. – Matthew Phipps

Fisher Cats Fans

Tonight’s CoDo RAK goes to the Saluto family, joining us for a late evening dinner. We have a few sets of Fisher Cats tickets and I thought this family would enjoy going to a game. That sure turned out to be a true statement! I told them about the Pay it Forward part, and both young men chimed in that they wanted to do it. No fighting, boys! – Matthew Phipps

The Griffins are Here

GNHRRAK Leave a Comment

These are the Griffin brothers. They come in regularly especially to visit Jess B. They eat gluten friendly because of celiac disease and it’s not unusual to hear “the Griffins are here” in the kitchen to get their meals started. Knowing they would love to Pay it Forward, I felt they were the perfect recipients today 🙂 – Lisa Schoneberger

In honor of the Holiday weekend, I want to give the RAK to the first person that was either in the Military or was at one point.  We had a party of 9 and one of the gentleman is a VET.  I picked up his food and bought a couple of dessert for the table.  They were so moved and honored to be apart of this promotion. – Rheanna Cook

Family of Four

CJ’s Sunday RAK went to a family of 4 that are in regularly before Monarchs games and today decided to sit in the lounge. I have seen them in here a bunch of times but never formally met them. I went over and introduced myself and told them about our promotion. They were floored that we chose them today and the kids are more than excited to Pay it Forward. I can’t wait to ask them how they gave away their certificate. – Josh Bruno

Recovering from Surgery

This afternoons RAK in Hudson was for Patty & her husband who just came home from having open heart surgery. Patty was picking up lunch at T-BONES because we are her husbands favorite restaurant and this is the first meal he wanted after just getting home today 🙂 She and our hostess Claudette were in tears talking about his journey and what his recovery will be like for the next 16 weeks. Once I started to hear this story, I began talking to them to learn more myself… Patty was the perfect pick for my RAK. She was so genuine, caring, and loving of her husband and definitely deserved a little pick me up. She was blown away when she found out the good news and she said after everything they have been through it is so nice to have something good happen to them. She is more than happy to be able to do the same thing for someone else 🙂 – Meaghan Corriveau

Today I had a bartender from restaurant down the street come in with some friends and family. I chose her to RAK today because I know she comes in contact with a lot of people who I’m sure could use a RAK themselves. – Rheanna Cook

Making Happy Days

GNHRRAK Leave a Comment

Tonight RAK went to Loraine and Dave ….. Couple of our favorites.  I chose them tonight cause she was just having one of those days and her dinner came out wrong and when she pulled up her calendar app her phone shut off and she lost it.  Michelle and I decide to make her day a little happier and bought her dinner and app.  She was so surprised (I got a hug, love it) and she can’t wait to make someone else’s day happier! – Rheanna Cook
