Walking around the dining room tonight, a young girl darted in front of me. I looked to see what the rush was for and realized she was retrieving a cane for an elderly guest who had just dropped it upon standing up from her table. The young girl had sprung up to assist the woman the second she saw the cane fall. Upon talking to both parties and visiting for a little while, I came to find out that they were complete strangers and this was an act of kindness all on its own. I asked the young girl if she had ever tried any of our desserts and set a dessert menu in front of her. I told her to pick one out and I would personally take care of it for her. The rest of the table loved it. I presented them with the pay it forward gift card and instructed them to do just what they had already done for the nice lady with the cane to someone else.
Forever Regulars!
Tonight I was walking threw the dinning room doing my usually walk around and I happened to notice a couple that I know I’ve seen many many times before, and for some reason I new I remember them not just for being regulars but for another reason but I just couldn’t put my finger on it. As I walked around I picked up on some of their conversation, and how much they loved the t-bones staff, then it hit me. Around christmas time they where the table who paid for my tables meal. The reason why they paid for my tables meal was because they wanted to thank the father at my table for his service (he was a marine), because of this I wanted to repay the pay it forward to them. I presented this couple with a $25.00 Gift certificate for their next visit and a $25 GC to give to any random person they please. Of course this couple new right off the bat someone in need who would love this. It pays to pay it forward especially when its someone who pays it forward all the time!
Dad’s Favorite
Had a mother and daughter in the lounge today. They were both very sweet and super nice so I asked how long they had been coming to T Bones. They explained that it was Dad’s/Husband’s favorite place to come. That if he had the choice he would have eaten here everyday. They continue to visit T-Bones and enjoy the atmosphere and food as he had. They could not stop talking about how great of a restaurant we have.
First Timers
Tonight I had a lovely couple come in for their first time, I over heard them saying how good the food was and it didn’t even compare to other places around. I approached them to let them know that not only do we have amazing home made food we also try and go above and beyond daily. I presented them with a $25.00 Gift certificate and explained to them what the RAK program was. At the end of our conversation they informed me that they where not from around here but their son is. They now are going to visit T-bones every time they visit there son (which is four times a year). Our first timers have now become regulars 4 times a year!
Awesome Couple
Towards the end of the night, Johanna came up to me and said that she had a couple who she absolutely adores. Told me about how they were her first party in cocktail when she moved into the lounge. They are regulars who are always positive and fun. Upon introducing myself and explaining what I was doing for them, she went on to explain that they go out to eat any night that it is the husband’s night to cook, so needless to say, they go out to eat a lot, and generally join us at T-Bones in Bedford. I thanked them for their continued business and great personalities. Awesome Guests!!!
Twins
We had a table of the cuties 3 year old twins today that have better manners than most adults! Super Quite and the parents where very grateful and surprise that we had this awesome promotion!
First and Future Guests
Had a couple come in today to have lunch. They were very outgoing and kept telling me how much they love the atmosphere, the service, and the amazing food quality. Visited with them for a little while when they told me it was their first visit to our family of restaurants. They explained they wanted to try a place they had never heard of instead of visiting a “chain”. I bought their appetizer and encouraged them to try our other two restaurants right here in the Manchester area. They were grateful and told me they would certainly be back to visit our restaurants.
A Widow
Tonight I had a lady come in, sweet as can be. She sat by herself and had shared with me she was trying the “go out alone” thing. She then shared with me that she recently lost her husband and she hadn’t gone out since then. I immediately knew I was paying for her tab. Once I told her that dinner was on me and all she had to pay for was her drink, the couple she was talking to all night bought that for her too. Another kind gesture for this lady who recently lost her husband. The lady, Nancy told me that I didn’t have to do that, my response, “I know I don’t have to but I want to”. I told her I was sorry for her loss and anytime she wants to go out for dinner alone, I’ll be here and I’ll keep her company. She was delighted.
Old Classic for an Old Classic
Today a woman came in for a takeout and ordered an old classic menu item that we used to have on the menu many years ago. She ordered the MCM sandwich which is mozzarella chicken and mushrooms. I thought she was a great person to RAK. Upon her arrival I found out that she used to work for our company many years ago in our Hudson location. Stephanie was so thrilled that I bought her sandwich for her and I also made sure she got extra fries and some extra mushrooms on it. I have never met her before but she was so friendly and bubbly. I knew my choice for this Random Act of Kindness was a perfect one!
Private Jones
Had a young lady (Private Jones) from the Army in tonight to get take-out, Perfect RAK! Come to find out this was her first time here on a recommendation from her newest recruit who raved about us! She was moved to tears and so thankful and excited to PIF!
